It is prepared speech actually I am not well prepared.  Last deep night, after I finished con-calls, I started thinking the topic today, guess what? It never gonna so tough for me.

Ok, every good speech starts from a story.  I also have one.  Telling you truth, I have been a fan of animal planet in discovery channel; and I told many friends how much I loved wild animals, but one thing happened let me know I never do enough.

 That is an amazing year in which G7 summit was held in Shanghai.  With regulation from Government, I got 3 days off for free.  Those 3 days came to a vacation plan and four friends went to Wu Yi Moutain.   Not mentioned that is a beautiful place, it is also a famous place for enjoying delicious food, every night, we went out to find a small restaurant and order some special food.

Still remember clearly that is the last night we stayed there.  We planned to have a celebration for the end of the great vacation.  In the best local restaurant, one friend proposed to eat something really special, while the restaurant owner immediately recommended a Civet cat he captured last day.  Well, my instinct help me refused the proposal at the beginning, but all my friends obviously disagreed with me.  According to the rule, it was decided by voting and I lose.  I didn’t insist anymore considering the friendship.  We made the order and the cook lifted a pack behind the door, opened it and took out a snow white civet cat, that little creature crazily struggled but the tail was held tightly by the cook, suddenly the cook use one hammer hitting the little creature’s head, one, twice, the cat screamed and was knock out, it seems the eyes stared at me for a while before closed slowly while the body still kept shaking even when it was skinned.  No doubt, I was shocked.  That dinner, I didn’t touch its meat for a single bite, afterwards, the scene kept appearing in my mind.  I often asked myself, how about if I strongly refused the idea; how about from the result-oriented perspective, I found a way all my best to change the final result?  However, I didn’t.

Not sure whether you guys saw one non-profit advertisement, The pride of China,  Yao Ming announced that he will never eat “shark fin” in his life and he is trying to influence the society to care wild animals. 

Thus, as an end,  I want take the advantage of the speech, try to influence you all, love animals, not stay on the wording level.  Keep  your standpoint at any circumstance, please do not and have people around you do not eat wild animals.  Give a chance to wild animals share the same blue sky with us in this planet.
